Overview

A 91.4-metre Neorion-built classic, launched in 2005 as the 85-metre Alysia and lengthened by six metres in a later refit that also added a beach club and reworked the main and upper deck exteriors. Few yachts of her generation were designed from the outset to carry a large party in comfort, and it shows: eighteen cabins for 36 guests, a master suite with its own jacuzzi and private deck, a spa with massage room, saunas and steam rooms, a gym, and two large outdoor jacuzzis. Twin Caterpillar engines and zero-speed stabilisers keep her steady at anchor, and a crew of 36 — nearly one for every guest — runs the yacht across a 14.4-metre beam.

Frequently asked questions

How many guests can Moonlight II take?

Moonlight II sleeps up to 36 guests in 18 cabins, with a crew of 36 — more than one crew member per guest.

What is Moonlight II like on board?

Moonlight II measures 91.4 m / 300 ft overall. Her 14.4 m / 47 ft beam is what you feel on board: it sets how wide the decks are, and how much room the salon and the sun deck have to work with.

Where does Moonlight II cruise?

Moonlight II charters worldwide, and her itinerary is built around your dates and the season rather than a fixed route. She carries fuel for 5,000 nautical miles between refuelling stops, which is what puts ocean crossings and remote anchorages on the table.

Who built Moonlight II, and when?

Moonlight II was built by Neorion in 2005. Her interior is by Lally Poulias.

What is on board Moonlight II?

The headline items are two outdoor jacuzzis, spa with massage room, saunas & steam rooms, gym, jet skis and seabobs. It is worth asking about the rest — crews carry more than the brochure lists, and equipment that is not on board can usually be hired in for a specific charter.

How much does it cost to charter Moonlight II?

Moonlight II starts at €150,000 per day. Rates move with the date — public holidays, race weekends and peak summer weekends are quoted higher.

What is included in the charter rate for Moonlight II?

A day aboard Moonlight II covers the yacht, her crew and fuel for the agreed route. Catering, drinks and any water toys that need a licensed operator are quoted on top, and the exact list varies by operator — we confirm it in writing with your quote, so nothing appears on the invoice afterwards.

Is Moonlight II available to charter?

Moonlight II is taking bookings. Summer weekends tend to go months ahead, so if your dates are fixed it is worth putting a hold on them early — we can do that while the details are still being agreed.
