Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you browse this site or send us a charter enquiry, why we process it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Last updated: 24 July 2026

1. Who we are

Luxury Yachts SARL ("we", "us") is a yacht charter brokerage and is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Our registered address is Le Panorama, Block C, 57 Rue Grimaldi, 98000 Monaco.

For any question about this policy or about your data, write to luxuryyachtcharter333@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

We deliberately keep collection to a minimum. There is no account to create, no login, and no profiling of visitors.

  • Charter enquiries — the name, email address, telephone number, requested dates, yacht of interest and any message you type into our enquiry form.
  • Correspondence — the emails, calls and messages exchanged with your broker while an enquiry is being answered, including details you choose to share (guest numbers, dietary or accessibility needs, preferred itineraries).
  • Consent record — your choice on our cookie notice, stored in your browser so we do not ask again on every visit.
  • Technical logs — the IP address, timestamp, requested page and browser user agent recorded by our web server, plus a short-lived count of form submissions per IP address used to block spam.

4. We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or for automated decision-making that produces legal effects. We do not send marketing email unless you have separately asked us to.

5. Who else sees it

Enquiry details are shared only with the parties who need them to answer you or to deliver a charter you have booked:

  • The yacht's owner, management company or central agent, where a specific vessel is being quoted or booked.
  • Local partners engaged for your charter at your request — transfers, provisioning, port and concierge services.
  • Our email provider, which transmits and stores enquiry notifications, and our hosting provider, on whose servers this site and its logs run.
  • Professional advisers, auditors or authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.

6. International transfers

Our website and mail are hosted on servers in the European Union. Chartering is by nature international: if your charter takes place outside the EEA, the details needed to deliver it will reach the yacht and local partners in that country. Where such a transfer is not covered by an adequacy decision, we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses or on Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR, the transfer being necessary to perform the contract you have asked us to arrange.

7. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a charter — up to 24 months from our last exchange, so we can pick up a conversation you resume the following season.
  • Booked charters — for the duration of the contract and then up to 10 years, as required by accounting and tax law.
  • Server and security logs — up to 12 months.
  • Your cookie choice — up to 6 months, after which the notice appears again.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, and portability; you may object to processing based on our legitimate interests; and you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. Cookie consent can be withdrawn directly through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page.

To exercise any right, write to luxuryyachtcharter333@gmail.com. We reply within one month. If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of the EU Member State where you live or work.

9. Security

The site is served over TLS, and enquiry data is transmitted to our brokers over authenticated, encrypted mail. Access to enquiry records is limited to the brokers handling them. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed absolutely secure, so please do not send passport scans, payment card numbers or other sensitive documents through the enquiry form — your broker will provide a secure channel when such documents are genuinely needed.

10. Children

This site is intended for adults arranging a charter. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Where guests under 18 will be aboard, we process only the details an adult booking party provides to us for the charter itself.

11. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change. The date above always reflects the current version; material changes to how we use cookies will also prompt the consent notice to appear again.
