Galeon

Galeon takes up to 12 guests for a day on board. That is a deck capacity rather than a berth count — below she has 2 cabins, so a smaller group can also stay the night.

Galeon measures 21.3 m / 70 ft overall. Her 5.2 m / 17 ft beam is what you feel on board: it sets how wide the decks are, and how much room the salon and the sun deck have to work with. At 32 knots flat out she is quick enough that a bay further along the coast stays a decision rather than a plan.

Galeon works out of the Mediterranean. On a single day the route comes down to how far you want to travel against how long you want to spend at anchor — the captain proposes an itinerary once he knows which of the two matters more, and adjusts it on the morning for wind and swell.

The headline items are panoramic-window salon, cockpit dining area, sunbathing on flybridge, bow & stern, fully equipped galley, air conditioning and Wi-Fi & satellite TV. It is worth asking about the rest — crews carry more than the brochure lists, and equipment that is not on board can usually be hired in for a specific charter.

Galeon starts at €12,000 per day. Rates move with the date — public holidays, race weekends and peak summer weekends are quoted higher.

A day aboard Galeon covers the yacht, her crew and fuel for the agreed route. Catering, drinks and any water toys that need a licensed operator are quoted on top, and the exact list varies by operator — we confirm it in writing with your quote, so nothing appears on the invoice afterwards.

Galeon is taking bookings. Summer weekends tend to go months ahead, so if your dates are fixed it is worth putting a hold on them early — we can do that while the details are still being agreed.
