Overview
A 41.4-metre Palmer Johnson based in Dubai, refitted in 2023 and fitted out by Nuvolari Lenard — a low bronze-gold hull that is recognisable from the far side of the marina, and marble-and-mirror interiors below that keep to the same register. Five cabins sleep twelve, a crew of seven runs the yacht, and the deck plan is laid out for time on the water rather than passage-making: a flybridge with a jacuzzi, loungers and a bar, a beach club at water level, a slide from the upper deck and a sea pool off the platform. Twin MTUs give her 24 knots in cruise and 35 flat out, which puts the length of the Emirates coast inside a day. She is chartered from six hours upwards, with a Castoldi jet tender and a Zodiac aboard and the water toys — jet ski, Zapata flyboard, Seabobs, water skis, wakeboards and dive gear — included in the rate.

Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum booking for AK Royalty?
From six hours. A ten-hour day charter is the usual format out of Dubai, and she also takes three- to seven-day itineraries along the Emirates coast — those are quoted individually rather than at the hourly rate.
What is included in the charter rate for AK Royalty?
Fuel, the crew of seven, passenger insurance, berthing, welcome drinks, the water toys carried on board and the spa are all covered by the hourly rate for AK Royalty. Catering, alcohol, guest transfers, a DJ or show programme, themed styling and a photographer are arranged on request and quoted with the booking.
Can AK Royalty cruise beyond Dubai?
Yes — she holds the licences for the whole of the UAE, and Abu Dhabi and Yas Marina are a regular run, particularly over Grand Prix weekend. Longer passages to the neighbouring Gulf states — Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman — and into the Indian Ocean are possible on a multi-day charter, priced individually.
How many guests can AK Royalty take?
AK Royalty sleeps up to 12 guests in 5 cabins, with a crew of 7.
What is AK Royalty like on board?
AK Royalty measures 41.4 m / 136 ft overall. At 35 knots flat out she is quick enough that a bay further along the coast stays a decision rather than a plan.
Where does AK Royalty cruise?
AK Royalty works the waters off the UAE. Over a few hours the route matters less than the setting, so the captain will suggest the stretch that looks best at that time of day and keep the yacht where the light and the shelter are.
Who built AK Royalty, and when?
AK Royalty was built by Palmer Johnson in 2009. She was most recently refitted in 2023, so her interiors and systems are newer than her launch year suggests. Her interior is by Nuvolari Lenard.
What is on board AK Royalty?
The headline items are flybridge jacuzzi, beach club, water slide, sea pool, sun deck bar and jet ski & Seabobs. It is worth asking about the rest — crews carry more than the brochure lists, and equipment that is not on board can usually be hired in for a specific charter.
How much does it cost to charter AK Royalty?
AK Royalty starts at €12,000 per hour. Rates move with the date — public holidays, race weekends and the peak weekends of the cool season are quoted higher.
Is AK Royalty available to charter?
AK Royalty is taking bookings. Weekends through the cooler months tend to go months ahead, so if your dates are fixed it is worth putting a hold on them early — we can do that while the details are still being agreed.
